New Works - as of 24 July 2008
Now Playing . . .
Oboe Shoes - This wild ride is composed for Oboe (doubling English Horn),
Percussion Ensemble, Piano & Synthesizer
You: As I See You - The Portrait of Amanda E. Loerch for Double Reed
Doubler (Oboe & Bassoon) and Piano
The Truman Passacaglia - a passacaglia for String Quartet
A Gentle Soul - the portrait of Thomas P. Clune - for Oboe, Bassoon, Piano,
Cello and Double Bass
The Ballad of West Virginia - for Symphony Orchestra
In the Rough . . .
An Oratorio for Christ, set in the Catholic faith,
featuring our Virgin Mary - Yes, I have been working on this oratorio since
August 2006, this work has been difficult from the get go. I have compiled of
all the things that need to be done to declare it finished. The list currently has
thirteen tasks on it. I am working on each of them a little bit each week. This
oratorio just takes all of my energy away whenever I sit down to work on it.
Even the smallest of tasks become enormous and draining due to the size of
this peice.
A new wind quintet piece - Thus far, all I have is a bunch of sketches. Some
more developed than others. I wish I had more time to dedicate to this quintet,
but other projects have put this one on the back burner. I hope to have it
finished by October, or sometime in autumn at the least.
The Hydrant Hose March - The Hydrant Hose Company No. 1 is the oldest of
the volunteer fire companies of the Geneva Fire Department, Geneva, New
York. The Hydrants have been faithfully serving the residents of the City of
Geneva since 1880. I myself have been a dedicated firefighter in the Hydrant
Hose Company since July, 2002. My goal is to capture the spirit of our past,
present and inspire our future.
Planned . . .
A Christmas Mass - will be a piece for orchestra. I would like to have the
Oratorio finished before I get started on my Mass.
A new Capriccio. I have been doing some Bahamas influenced sketches that I
am thinking of turning into a capriccio.
If anybody out there knows where I can sheet music of the various themes
used by The Three Stooges, please email me at

A new ballad in honor of an American State or Canadian Province is always on
the horizon.
